The Little Princess is never sick—except when people ask her to do things that she doesn't want to do. She's too sick to walk the dog and she's far too sick to go to school. But when she's invited to a party, all that changes. Or does it?

K-Gr 2-Little Princess never gets sick, unless, of course, she is asked to do something she doesn't want to do. Everything from walking her dog to cleaning the cat box to teaching a horse to jump makes her suddenly ill and unable to help, even if she was feeling fine seconds before. Luckily, she makes a remarkable recovery after receiving an invitation to attend a friend's birthday party. Unfortunately, after a day of overeating and dancing, our little princess suddenly is a bit green around the gills. Ross's trademark watercolor and pen and ink illustrations will guarantee check outs if this series is popular in your library. A supplemental purchase for most libraries.-Brooke Newberry, La Crosse Public Library, WI
