Tomorrow's Promise

Alice, Viv, and Josie are doing their best living in the present as the past and future collide.

The forecasted ice storm brings Golden Bay, Vermont to a standstill, including any flights in or out for Alice's guests at the North Star Inn. As the town shuts down and power goes out, Alice's inn becomes a place of refuge for her family members. But along with her daughters and sister come memories of the past and hopes for the future that don't always line up.

Viv's middle school student has nowhere safe and warm to go as the storm rages, so she brings her to her mother's place where her long-time partner, Gabe, is also staying. Love blooms between the two of them, but their plans for a possible family together couldn't be more different. Their relationship is tested, bringing it to the brink.

Josie is staying at the North Star Inn as she completes a snow sculpture for Golden Bay's Winter Carnival. One headache after another tests her limits until she is nearly undone. A call from her daughter back in Colorado sends her spiraling down a path of worries, wishing she was home.

Finally, an unexpected visitor opens a door to the past Alice didn't see coming. She knows she has to face whatever comes, even if it changes the course of her life forever.
